With
midsummer night, summertimes have arrived ...
The
fresh cut grass smell in the air, the sun on your nose and the chance
to dive into deep waters... Summer, where all the days run into each
other and every day is a saturday night ...
"So, over
hill, over dale, thorough bush, thorough brier, over park, over pale, thorough
flood, thorough fire, we
do wander everywhere..."
Life feels easy and we
will pack our stuff and join you spending these sweet Saturday
summer-nights as the theatre-festival DE PARADE and the crowd-sourced
ScenesConnected Festival are calling.
On
Saturday 30 June in Rotterdam and on Saturday 21 July in The Hague we
will taste Saturdays' sweetness at DE PARADE.
On
Saturday 7 July, awkward i will connect with the scenes in Maastricht
and perform twice during the ScenesConnected Festival in Maastricht. One show on the Sjiek & Sjoen stage (whatever this may mean or be). The other show during the festival will take place in a bush (yes a bush), where our dear friends of The Mad Trist and Sparrow Falls will join us for a few songs.
This might sound very strange to you, so you better come along and see and hear it with your own eyes and ears ...
