A day to be remembered ...

Saturday 21 July, the sun was shining and we went to Beverwijk playing two shows at the Young Art Festival, went full of amazement through the magic woods they created there and loved the tiniest stage we played so far in the pipo-truck of De Liedjesfabrique. We went to Utrecht the same night, playing at De Parade and experienced an epic show. In other words, Saturday 21 July, 3 shows on one day, it was a day to be remembered.

Today, we will be heading for Chemnitz in Germany in expectation of our show during the MS Beat Festival on 28 July and we will be back in the Netherlands for Duizel in het Park in Rotterdam and Festival In Vervoering in Utrecht on Sunday 5 August.

See you then, somewhere, somehow and thanks to all of you that made 21 July such a memorable day!

And when the rain begins to fall, we will be your sunshine from Beverwijk to Utrecht

As the summer is hiding behind some heavy clouds of rain, we will try to cheer-up your weekend with “magnificent intro`s combined with gripping poetry & melodic depth; varied, subtle, complex plain gorgeous music”.... 

Here you can already pre-taste 1% awkward i (thanks to Sizzer Amsterdam), the full 100% can be consumed this Saturday during the Young Art Festival in Beverwijk and at De Parade in Utrecht. Just to be sure that you won't miss us, whilst hiding from the rain, showtime in Beverwijk will be at 5 pm and at 7 pm Djurre will do a solo-show at the Liedjesfabrique-stage, there.

And for all of you living in Utrecht and surroundings – don't fear the rain – we will keep you dry at Cafe Correct at De Parade around 11.30 pm. And that's a promise!

Mid Summer Scenes Parade

With midsummer night, summertimes have arrived ...

The fresh cut grass smell in the air, the sun on your nose and the chance to dive into deep waters... Summer, where all the days run into each other and every day is a saturday night ... 

"So, over hill, over dale, thorough bush, thorough brier, over park, over pale, thorough flood, thorough fire, we do wander everywhere..." 

Life feels easy and we will pack our stuff and join you spending these sweet Saturday summer-nights as the theatre-festival DE PARADE and the crowd-sourced ScenesConnected Festival are calling.

On Saturday 30 June in Rotterdam and on Saturday 21 July in The Hague we will taste Saturdays' sweetness at DE PARADE.

On Saturday 7 July,  awkward i will connect with the scenes in Maastricht and perform twice during the ScenesConnected Festival in Maastricht. One show on the Sjiek & Sjoen stage (whatever this may mean or be). The other show during the festival will take place in a bush (yes a bush), where our dear friends of  The Mad Trist and Sparrow Falls will join us for a few songs. 

This might sound very strange to you, so you better come along and see and hear it with your own eyes and ears ...
